Red Leaves no trace
Performance
Eckernförde, Germany_ August 2015
Photography: Silvia Amancei & Bogdan Armanu
The sky could be in different colors. Some people live under the red sky. They are born in poverty, injustice, deprivation, war and blood. They are born in red.
To find the blue sky they have to give up all they have and risk their lives passing the sea. The waves are high. The sea is rough and the journey is long.
I dress in red and take my red luggage. I go to the shore, carrying two heavy bags along the seafront for two hours. It is an effort to make a subtle and temporary disturbance on the seashore by disrupting the view over the sea.

I wash my sins with soap
site specific performance
Villa Sträuli
Winterthur, Switzerland_ 2015
‘I wash my sins with soap’ is a site specific performance inspired by the history of villa Strauli when the owners of the villa had a home factory producing soap and candle. The work was developed during the artist’s stay in the villa.
The work consists of three parts: a monologue, an installation and a participatory performance. The artist tells a story which she calls a confession and at the end she invites the audience to accompany her with what she calls wiping out the sins.

Let's Play
performance by Sana Ghobbeh (Iran) & Huda Takriti (Syria)
Vienna/ Austria_2014
The performance is an intervention illustrating what we used to play as s kid. It was a test of our ability to keep the balance while jumping from one block to another.Passing the borders puts the immigrants in that test again. They are playing the same game but this time in the scale of their lives. Recalling those memories they are still struggling for stability.
